Dear Readers, Happy New Year !
This is our first post of 2018. It is a tradition of this blog to take a look back at some of the places we visited last year. Overall, we traveled less in 2017 than 2016, at least in terms of distance traveled. We did not leave Europe after our Hong Kong trip concluded in January 2017. But we entered the Arctic Circle, visited the capital of Norway, England, France and Portugal.

Chris n Sue, bravo! I really miss our trips too gether during the UEFA finals, though my low energy might have been a burden in u n Belle, sorry about that. . Your articles make me marvel at the wonders of Central n northern Europe: most places I’ve never been to n will never be: at my overly ripe age. Keep writing: time n energy n mood permitting, I’ve never missed a single article, it is as if I’m travelling . Thanks from the bottom of my heart.
