If this is your first visit to this blog – Chris and Sue’s Excellent(?) Adventures: Been There … Done This, welcome! You will find here our travel stories illustrated by photographs, music and maps. Occasionally, we post lists and write-ups on the books, films, music and games that we enjoy. You should expect to see one or two new posts every week. Follow us.
This site is the second home of our 10+ years-old blog which has accumulated more than 900 posts! We have migrated all of them over here and will gradually revise any outdated content, refresh the embedded links and add maps and music.
Using the Explore link at the top of the page, you can access these archived posts by their Categories, Tags, or by searching with keywords, such as country or city. You can also navigate by publication dates. We are sure you will find something interesting to read there.
At this time, the Random, Games and Links pages are still under construction.

To our friends, families and regular readers, we appreciate your support by continuing the journey with us. We took a break from blogging in 2021 as we relocated back to the Unites States. We are eager to resume sharing our travel photos, stories and thoughts.
Some of you may have noticed over the years that our web page design has not changed since the inception of the blog. It has been powered by the same theme and codes from 2009. So it is time to adopt more recent technology behind the pages.
The title of the blog remains “Chris and Sue’s Excellent(?) Adventures.” But we changed our tagline from “Our trips, trials and thoughts” to “Been There … Done This.” It is interesting for us to see how the blog has evolved in certain directions but not in others. Here is a link to a post made in 2015 when we were approaching our 600th post.
We have also acquired our own domain name chrisnsue.com. The new site and redesigned pages should improve the overall reading experience. The modernization would also provide more interactive functions such as maps, and best of all, larger photos with better resolution. So you can zoom in to see the details.
A copy of the legacy posts will remain online where they are now, for as long as wordpress.com would continue to host them. We hope you enjoy the new posts as much as the earlier ones. If something posted here resonates with you, please leave a comment. We would love to hear from you.
