We passed the city of Bregenz on our way to Lindau, and made it the destination of one of our day trips. Bregenz is the capital of the province of Vorarlberg which borders three countries: Germany(Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg via Lake Constance), Switzerland (Grisons and St. Gallen) and Liechtenstein.
