Cafes, Bars & Brasseries of Paris, Part 8

Hope you all enjoyed watching the Olympic Games as much as we did (on TV). We think watching the various competition on television allowed us to watch certain games up close and comfortably, and to follow a wider range of the games. However, we can only imagine the excitement of being in Paris. The cafes, bars and brasseries must have been some of the best places to watch the games with passionate crowds, residents and tourists alike, expressing their support for their favorites. These establishments offer a perch to watch how the world was immersed in these games in the city.

This multi-part compilation is not a ‘best of’ selection; however, some of the places featured are famous or historic. The photographs were captured while we were in Paris many months ago. While we have not frequented every establishment, the idea is tempting and accomplishable. Click to see more of the series: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4Part 5, Part 6 and Part 7.
